Meeting so many young patients with ovarian failure motivated me to specialise in fertility”

Learn a little more about me

My parents are doctors and since I was a child I really liked the work they did in hospitals, so I feel that medicine has been my passion ever since. I became passionate about gynaecology and obstetrics when I interned in this area as a medical student and have since made the decision to specialise.

In my final year of residency, a mentor in endocrinology inspired me to choose Fertility, and meeting so many patients suffering from ovarian insufficiency at such a young age motivated me even more to explore this field of Gynaecology.

Motivation for a new project to help patients with fertility problems that provides advanced technology, as well as trained and committed staff to give the best follow-up to patients.

Also, the continuous education and research that keep us up to date regarding the management of different reproductive pathologies.

For patients it is a great opportunity to fulfil their reproductive dreams as a family. It involves a lot of commitment and unity on the part of the couple.

To be able to support them from all spheres that the patient needs, as these treatments are very challenging from the emotional, psychological and medical point of view.

Yes, I remember it very well. I was very happy to be able to help a couple who had gone through so many ups and downs and who finally achieved their pregnancy.

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it, each case is unique, and it always gives me great satisfaction to know that the work we do as a team leads many people achieving their dreams.

Seeing them smile with their baby in their arms.

It is never easy to face the pain of patients when results are not what we hoped for, but in my personal life my greatest strength is my faith, along with the support of my husband and my family. That keeps me empathetic and motivated to continue giving my best to each patient.

I enjoy music, travelling and spending time with my husband and family.
