Egg freezing

Egg freezing is a fertility preservation technique designed for women who wish to postpone their maternity for personal reasons or other causes, such as cancer patients who may see their reproductive capacity impaired or women who have had an ovarian surgery that may have affected their fertility.
With a procedure very similar to an IVF-treatment, the oocytes can be kept cryopreserved for the period that the patient wishes for. There is no limitation in this regard. With the Cryotop technique, we achieve survival rates up to 97% in young patients (under 35 years of age), with pregnancy rates similar to those obtained with fresh oocytes.

In Vitro Fertilization

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is the most common assisted reproduction technique at fertility clinics, allowing an egg to be fertilized with semen in the laboratory outside of the uterus.
The embryos obtained through this process are then transferred into the uterus. There are three possibilities of IVF: IVF with own eggs and semen of the partner, IVF with own eggs and donor sperm and IVF indicated for female couples, also known as the ROPA-method.

Egg donation

An egg donation treatment is an in vitro fertilization technique indicated for women who cannot produce their own oocytes or have a low ovarian reserve. Thanks to the anonymous donation, women can experience the wonderful journey of becoming pregnant themselves. In this case, the semen comes from the recipient’s partner or from a donor.

ROPA-Method

The ROPA-method or reception of oocytes from the partner is an assisted reproduction technique for lesbian couples only, in which both would like to share motherhood actively.
One will contribute the eggs (she will be the donor) and her partner will be the one who carries the baby and gives birth (the recipient). It’s essential that the woman who donates the eggs has a good ovarian reserve.
This procedure is especially indicated for those female couples, where both partners want to be part of the process of becoming pregnant.
